Hello! My name is Ethan

I graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2023. From a young age I’ve always enjoyed taking things apart to see how the world worked, however putting them back together in a way where they still worked took some time to learn.

My senior capstone project was leading a multidisciplinary engineering team to compete in the 2023 NASA Student Launch Initiative, specifically my team was responsible for development and deployment of the rocket deployed payload for the launch competition drawing on a large breadth of topics including RF communications, mechanical and electronic systems design and testing, and programming of the robotic imaging payload.

After graduation I find myself still tinkering with any project I can find, you can find more about what I’ve been working on by checking out my Projects or my Blog to find recent writeups of my work. I enjoy working to solve problems around the house either in code or CAD, with some recent interest in the growing field of AI and doing useful work with today’s models.
